Your Tasks

• Manage the design, development, and implementation of new tooling and fixtures. Coordinate with management, customers, production and tool suppliers to schedule and perform all in house and outsourced tooling maintenance and repairs.
• Lead and supervise a team of tooling engineers, tooling technicians, toolmakers, and others relevant personnel. Provide training and development opportunities and assign work, set goals and monitor progress of mold technician.
• Coordinate with management, production, engineering, and suppliers to ensure that tooling needs are met. Ensure all tooling meets quality standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Implement and monitor tooling performance metrics to drive continuous improvements. Manage budgets and inventory of tooling, materials, and maintenance resources.
• Maintain tooling uptime to minimize impact on customers. Lead root causes analysis and corrective actions for tooling related issues and active role on internal continuous improvement teams. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and minimum 6 years’ working experience in the same position in the injection molding industries or in tool making and mold design experience.
• Strong in technical capability (proficiency in CAD/CAM software for tool design and analysis) and mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes. Completed Tool and Die maker apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English, solid skill for Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), SAP is advantage, good attitude with adaptability to company culture and seek for continuous improvement.
• Good interpersonal communication and influence skills, problem solving skills, ability or logic to assess problems and take the appropriate course of action, able to handle multi-task and perform well under pressure.
