The DPB Rail Infra Service DE GmbH ist ein modernes Eisenbahnverkehrsunternehmen mit Schwerpunkt im Schienengüterverkehr. Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams suchen wir ab sofort für unsere Standorte in Essen oder Köln a dedicated Inside Sales Representative (m/f/d), who supports our sales.

Activities

• You will look after our existing and new customers and be the first point of contact for their concerns.
• You create offers, assist with calculations, and prepare contract documents.
• You coordinate communication between customers, sales, and operational departments.
• You process customer inquiries and ensure professional and service-oriented support.
• You will create sales reports and market analyses and support the identification of new business opportunities.
• You will be involved in commercial processes such as invoice verification, invoicing, and receivables management.
• You will support our sales team with organizational and administrative tasks and contribute your own ideas for process optimization.

Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial training - ideally in the field of logistics, freight forwarding or transport.
• Ideally, initial professional experience in sales administration, customer service, or in the transport, logistics, or railway industry.
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as a structured and independent work style.
• Strong communication skills, organizational talent, and enjoyment of working with different contacts.
• Interest in logistical processes and economic relationships
• Excellent German skills, both spoken and written (at least C1 level)
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Class B driving licence.

• An attractive compensation package with a gross annual salary between €45.000 and €65.000 (13 monthly salaries), depending on qualifications and professional experience. A higher salary is of course possible with corresponding experience and qualifications.
