Your Responsibilities
- Planning and design of cable routes, taking into account technical requirements, spatial constraints, and standards
- Planning, design, and dimensioning of electrical systems, controls, and distributions
- Selection of suitable electrical components according to customer requirements and standards
- Dimensioning and optimization of cable paths considering voltage drop, EMC, and fire protection regulations
- Collision check of cable routes in 2D/3D models (e.g. Navisworks)
- Definition of penetrations and cable ducts (e.g. ROXTEC frames) in walls, ceilings, and floor channels
- Preparation of cable lists including lengths, cross-sections, cable types, and connection points
- Preparation of cable and routing plans using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD)
- Preparation of circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams using CAD software (e.g. EPLAN, AutoCAD)
- Documentation of planning results as well as creation of parts lists and switch cabinet layouts
- Documentation and maintenance of planning documents and handover to executing companies
Your Profile
Degree or state-certified Technician (m/f/d) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or comparable qualification
- Experience in electrical engineering planning and full documentation, including cable routing and cable lists
- Proficient in CAD software for cable routing (e.g. AutoCAD, Navisworks)
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g. EPLAN P8, AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. VDE, DIN, lightning protection, fire protection regulations)
- Experience in cable dimensioning, voltage drop calculation, and EMC-compliant installation
- Confident use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Willingness to independently familiarize yourself with complex tasks
- Independent and agile working style, strong organizational skills, confident and customer-oriented demeanor
- Willingness to travel within Germany
- Excellent German language skills, spoken and written
- Ideally good English skills, spoken and written
- Class B driver’s license
