About the position

As Buyer - International Purchasing, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing international suppliers. You ensure cost-efficient, timely procurement while maintaining quality standards and fostering long-term supplier relationships.

Your tasks

• Strategic and operational procurement of medical products
• Independently conducting price negotiations
• Identifying, evaluating and developing new suppliers abroad
• Actively helping to shape and further develop internal purchasing processes
• You will communicate with sales and service providers as well as with national and international suppliers
• Monitoring stock levels and optimising availability
• Supporting the operational and strategic purchasing of products
• Comparing offers and assisting with price negotiations
• Monitoring delivery dates
• Actively participating in the optimisation of purchasing processes

Your profile

• Completed commercial training or studies, ideally with a focus on purchasing
• Experience in purchasing and medical devices
• Strong negotiating skills, assertiveness and communication skills
• Analytical thinking, structured way of working and a high level of personal responsibility
• Willingness to travel for supplier meetings and trade fairs in Germany and abroad
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Experience in Excel and merchandise management system
