About the position

As Buyer - International Purchasing, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing international suppliers. You ensure cost-efficient, timely procurement while maintaining quality standards and fostering long-term supplier relationships.

Your tasks

• Strategic and operational procurement of medical products.
• Independently conducting price negotiations.
• Identifying, evaluating and developing new suppliers abroad.
• Actively helping to shape and further develop internal purchasing processes.
• You will communicate with sales and service providers as well as with national and international suppliers.
• Monitoring stock levels and optimising availability.
• Supporting the operational and strategic purchasing of products.
• Comparing offers and assisting with price negotiations.
• Monitoring delivery dates.
• Actively participating in the optimisation of purchasing processes.

Your profile

• Completed commercial training or studies, ideally with a focus on purchasing.
• Experience in purchasing and medical devices.
• Strong negotiating skills, assertiveness and communication skills.
• Analytical thinking, structured way of working and a high level of personal responsibility.
• Willingness to travel for supplier meetings and trade fairs in Germany and abroad.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Experience in Excel and merchandise management system.
