PhD Researcher (m,f,x) in theoretical hadron physics
Current research interests of the group include lattice computations of hadron scattering amplitudes and spectral functions, as well as chiral effective theories of hadron and nuclear physics.
As a PhD researcher (m/f/x), you will participate in the ongoing efforts of the group to compute hadron scattering amplitudes using lattice QCD. In particular, the focus is on computations of baryon scattering amplitudes and their quark mass dependence.

Your tasks:

• Contribute to exisiting research directions of the group, in particular the lattice QCD computation of hadron scattering amplitudes.

Your profile

• a completed M.Sc. degree in physics with excellent grades by the starting date of the contract
• strong background in theoretical hadron physics and/or lattice QCD
• proven analytical and numerical skills
• oral and written proficiency in English
