Ihre Aufgaben: The Preclinical Theranostics team focuses on theranostic approaches with the goal to deliver new insights into tumor biology, heterogeneity and metabolism and their relationship and relevance to functional imaging and biomarker-driven treatments in nuclear medicine. Radiopharmaceutical therapy (RT) is a promising treatment option for various cancers. However, outcomes are rarely curative. We address this clinical need by investigating new radiopharmaceutical modalities and the mechanisms underlying the response / resistance to RPT. To improve RPT outcomes, we establish phenotypic (imaging) biomarkers and develop rationally chosen, translatable RPT-based combination therapies.

• We are looking for a proactive, talented Postdoctoral researcher who likes to take on new challenges and responsibilities, appreciates working in an interdisciplinary setting, and enjoys being part of a team.
• Projects involve evaluation of radiolabeled molecule for imaging and therapy and the development of mouse models.
• We expect contributions to project and lab management, including but not limited to writing research grants and study protocols, communicating with regulatory agencies, and supervision of students (BSc, MSc, PhD level).

Ihr Profil

• Diploma or master degree and a PhD degree in life or biomedical sciences (pharmacology, biology, biochemistry, animal sciences, physiology, immunology)
• Records of accomplishment including presentations at scientific conferences and peer-reviewed publications
• Experience with rodent animal handling
• In vivo imaging skills (PET, SPECT, CT) are a plus but not mandatory
• Experience with standard molecular biological, protein-biochemical, cell biological, immunological assays
• Attitude to work with accuracy, precision, and reliability in performing technical and analytical activities
• Strong organizational abilities. Able to work independently and follow through on assignment
• Able to organize and present results in an appropriate format
• Excellent communication skills and good command of English in both, oral and written form are a prerequisite
• Ability and commitment to work flexibly, under pressure and to deadlines
