Postdoc 2 years (m,f,x)

The chair deals with research in the intersection between Hamiltonian dynamics, symplectic geometry, and metric geometry. It employs tools from nonlinear analysis, variational calculus, and Floer theoretical methods based on holomorphic curves.
As a research assistant (m/f/x), you will independently and reliably work on the rigidity aspects of symplectic geometry and the computation of symplectic capacities.
Scope: full-time
Duration: fixed-term, 2 years

Your profile

• An above average doctoral degree in mathematics
• Fluent spoken and written English is also required
• Research experience in symplectic geometry
• Experience with computation of symplectic capacities and Gromov-Witten invariants
