Claim Manager (m/w/d)

Would you like to work in a technical environment and take responsibility for the professional handling of complaints? As a Claim Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in the technical and commercial assessment of claims. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and internal specialist departments, and actively contribute to the quality assurance of our projects.

Your tasks

  • Dealing with customer, supplier and internal claims
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, contracts, quality and safety requirements, and customer specifications
  • Identification, assessment and tracking of claims, deviations and defects
  • Communication with suppliers, service providers and customers as part of the claims management process
  • Technical and commercial evaluation of claims, including cost monitoring
  • Alignment and coordination with customers, suppliers and internal specialist departments
  • Tracking deadlines and maintaining internal claims lists and KPIs
  • Inspection of components at the factory or at the customer’s site based on drawings and specifications
  • Support with commissioning (FAT) as well as preparation of order-related documentation and assessment of welds
  • Communication with suppliers, service providers and customers as part of the claims management process
  • Preparation of complaint reports and analysis of the root causes of faults (root cause analyses)

Your profile

  • A completed apprenticeship in a commercial or/and technical field
  • A recognised one-year specialist training course
  • More than 3 years’ relevant professional experience, ideally in claims management, quality assurance or technical complaints handling
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Confident use of SAP and MS Office
  • A structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Strong communication and coordination skills in an international environment
